Attempts

We are attempting baking soda and vinegar balloon inflation to replace helium. Because of lemurs?

We have discovered that water balloons do not work. Have retrieved Regular balloons Will now discover if they work.

We were just talking about the shortage of helium the other day!

While walking around Downtown Disney, Renee noticed that the huge balloon that you could pay (a gazillion dollars) to take a tethered ride up into the sky was no longer there.

We did some research and although there was no direct answer, folks were assuming that it was due to the helium shortage. Whaaaaat??!!!

we read about the helium shortage a few years ago and since then, Taran has been trying to find another source. Sadly, the CO2 created by the baking soda/vinegar mix doesn't seem to cut it - but it is fun to make.
